FIX ANDROID/DATA/OBB FOLDER WITH SHIZUKU
What is Shizuku
It’s a tool that allows you to use certain system APIs without having to root your Android device. It works by granting adb shell permissions to a specific app on your device.
And today, we gonna use it to fix the issue to access Android/Data and Android/OBB folders.
Let’s Get Started.
First: Download Shizuku App from the playstore.
Second: Open Shizuku
Third Step: Click On Start.
Shizuku Requires Wireless debugging in the developer options.
If you don’t know how to enable Developer Options, follow these steps.
- Go to about phone settings.
- You will see something called “Build Number”
- Spam click it until developer options enables
After developer options step is done, go and enable Wireless debugging.
YOU MUST BE CONNECTED TO A WIFI IN ORDER TO ENABLE WIRELESS DEBUGGING
Next Step: Click on “Pair Code” in the wireless debugging settings
A notification from Shizuku will show up asking for the code.
Copy it and enter it in the Shizuku Notification.
And there you go. Pair Successful.
After that you need to install an app called FV FILE (Click Here To Download)
After installing FV File, Simply open it, and you will see a pop up for Shizuku to give access to FV File.
Click On Allow All The Time
And there you go, a very simple tutorial for accessing Android/Data/Obb folders on android 14.
Very simple and easy tutorial, this is probably many people suffer from, it’s because of android restrictions.
Google’s permission control on the Android/data and Android/obb directories is becoming increasingly incomprehensible. Access to these two directories is prohibited, but the system’s built-in file applications can access it! 🙁
Also, if you don’t like using FV FILE, you can use Zarchiver.
